John Wicks Training Stables Biddaddaba
John Wicks Training Stables are based in the beautiful Biddaddaba Valley between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in South East Queensland. Situated on 120 acres of prime undulating land purpose built for training and care of performance horses.
Our Facilities
The facilities include an 80×40 meter sand arena with a sliding surface for Reiners. The surface is also ideal for Dressage horses. There is a purpose built rubber lined round yard connected to the main arena for starting youngsters. Large stables and a wash bay with hot water.
This ideal location has access to great trails and horses are ridden out as part of their training program for clients.
John and Angie’s training program ensures your horse enjoys their work.
Individual Care
John Wicks Training Stables understands that each horse requires its own individual care program as part of its training. Horses can be kept in our safe stables, stallion paddocks, single paddocks or double paddocks. Horses are given as much time out to graze on the sweet grass of the valley and relax when not being ridden. Tailored programs are discussed with each individual client.
Our feeding program are individualised according to the horses work load and requirements. All horses are fed twice a day with combinations of lucerne hay twice a day, hard feeds using the Mitavite range of feeds.
The horses are closely managed ensuring all farrier and veterinary care is under taken, as required.
John and Angie have three full time live-in grooms assisting with feeding, grooming and the care of all the horses. They are part of the John Wicks Training Stables team and care for the horses when John and Angie are away giving clinics or competing.
